You can experience the desert life by staying in a traditional tent, riding a camel, or enjoying a barbecue under the stars.

 

Muscat is the capital and largest city of Oman, and a vibrant cultural and economic hub. Muscat has a mix of modern and traditional architecture, with landmarks such as the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the Royal Opera House, and the Mutrah Souq. Muscat also has a beautiful coastline, with beaches, parks, and forts.

 

One of the oldest cities in Oman, Nizwa is a cultural center of the country. Nizwa was once the capital of Oman, and a seat of learning and trade. Nizwa is famous for its fort, which is one of the largest and most impressive in Oman. The fort has a huge circular tower that offers panoramic views of the city and the mountains. Nizwa also has a lively souq (market), where you can buy handicrafts, spices, dates, and pottery.
